01

Four coffees, four experiences

Start with the cup.

Coffee King defines the flavour, body and finish it wants you to experience, then works backwards to choose the origin, blend and roast that will deliver it. We call it our Cup-to-Bean philosophy.

Flavour

The tasting notes come first: chocolate, caramel, toffee, hazelnut and more.

Body

From smooth and balanced to rich and full, shaped by the blend and the roast.

Finish

What stays with you after each sip, from lingering praline to a long cocoa close.

02

Brew it beautifully

A better cup starts with a simple recipe.

Fresh coffee, clean equipment and a consistent ratio make the biggest difference. Use these as starting points and adjust the grind to suit your equipment and taste.

  1. 01

    Espresso

    18g in · 36g out

    Fine grind · 28–32 sec

Start here, then adjust the grind until the shot tastes balanced: sweeter when correct, sour if too fast and dry or bitter if too slow.

  2. 02

    Cafetière

    15g · 250ml water

    Coarse grind · 4 min

Add freshly ground coffee, pour water just off the boil, stir, steep for four minutes and press slowly. Pour immediately.

  3. 03

    Filter / V60

    15g · 250ml water

Medium grind · about 3 min

Rinse the paper, bloom with 45g of water for 30 seconds, then pour gently in stages until you reach 250g.

Espresso recipes vary by machine, basket and coffee age. The figures above are a practical starting point, not a fixed rule.

03

More ways to enjoy it

Your coffee, beyond the morning cup.

Cold

Simple cold brew

Steep coarsely ground Italian Gourmet in cold water overnight, strain and serve over ice. Its natural caramel sweetness does the work.

Sweet

Affogato

Pour a fresh shot of Barista Premium over vanilla ice cream. Hazelnut and cocoa meet cold, creamy sweetness.

Evening

Decaf iced latte

Shake Gourmet Decaf espresso with ice and milk for a full-flavoured late-day serve without the caffeine.
